Accessibility Statement
for the AC obrábění company website
Our goal is to ensure that our website is easy to use for the widest possible range of visitors – including people with permanent or temporary disabilities.
We do not view web accessibility merely as an obligation imposed by European legislation (EU directives and the relevant law effective from June 2025), but as an expression of respect for people. It is estimated that one in six people in the EU lives with some form of disability – and for many of them, an accessible website is a necessity, not a bonus.
That is why we have carried out a number of adjustments and checks to meet accessibility requirements and to make our website easier to use even in situations where, for example, you cannot use a mouse, have impaired vision, or rely on assistive technologies.
Main steps we have implemented
🔹 Forms – We have adjusted them so they can be fully operated using only a keyboard (TAB, arrow keys, spacebar, Enter) and so that it is always clear what information should be entered in each field.
🔹 Headings and content structure – We have given the pages a clear and logical structure that makes navigation easier, including for screen reader users.
🔹 Alternative text for images – All images include descriptions (ALT text) so their meaning can be understood even without visual perception.
🔹 Sufficient contrast and font size – We have set color combinations and text sizes to ensure good readability, including for users with visual impairments.
🔹 Highlighting of active elements (focus state) – When navigating with a keyboard, it is always clear where you are on the page.
🔹 Navigation and interactive elements without a mouse – All key functions (menus, buttons, links) can be used using the keyboard alone.
🔹 Responsiveness and zoom – When content is zoomed to 200%, the page layout remains functional and clear.
What we considered during the adjustments
Accessibility is not only about visibility and operability, but also about clarity and comprehensibility. Therefore, we have:
-
limited distracting elements that could complicate orientation,
-
ensured minimum sizes and spacing for clickable elements,
-
set clear and readable form field labels outside the fields themselves so they remain visible while filling in the form.
Despite thorough checks, situations may still occur where some elements do not fully meet the needs of all users.
If this happens, we would be very grateful if you let us know – it will help us continue improving the website.
